Merge a Spinner Merge Planner

From spawn-tier 1, each step doubles. Raise the floor or drown in blues.

Merge Planner

The merge planner is a doubling table for Merge a Spinner. Official art already taught the unit: 1 + 1 = 2. To make a tier-3 you need two tier-2, which is four tier-1. To make a tier-7 from spawn-tier 1 you need 64 starters. That is the entire reason spawn tier is S-rank on the upgrade list.

Use this page with how to merge open. The planner is the count. The guide is the timing.

If the shop already sells tier 4 because you upgraded spawn floor, treat “4” as the new 1. Climbing from a floor of 4 to a target of 7 needs 8 purchases, not 64. That is the only math trick in the game.

How to read it mid-session

  1. Note the shop’s current starter tier. That is your floor.
  2. Note the silhouette you actually want in front — usually the next A or S role.
  3. Count the gap in tiers. Raise 2 to that power. That is the buy count.
  4. If the buy count is larger than the coins you will earn before bed, buy spawn floor instead of more bodies.
  5. If a raid chest or code lands, rerun step 4 immediately. Do not browse cosmetics.

Worked examples

Fresh plot. Floor 1, want a green spiked 2. Buy two, merge once. That is getting started.

Mid run. Floor 3, want a 6. Gap is 3 tiers → 8 buys of floor-3 tops, plus the merges. If 8 buys costs more than a spawn-tier tick that would make the shop sell 4s, buy the tick.

Post rebirth. You own an exclusive but the floor reset to 1. Do not spend the session rebuilding 256 blues. The exclusive holds the lane while you dump every coin into spawn floor. The rebirth checklist exists so you only reset when that plan is possible.

When the table lies

The table lies if a patch changes merge from 2:1 to 3:1. We have not seen that. It lies if the shop sells mixed tiers on one refresh. Then you plan against the lowest buy, not the average. It lies if you count tops already on the lane — always subtract the matching bodies you already own or you will overbuy.

After the September 2026 bump, recheck shop labels. If “Tier” now means something else, this page will say so.

Pairing with offline and raids

Before offline logout, merge down so the snapshot is high-tier bodies, not 16 unmerged floor-1s. Before a raid, keep one pair unmerged if you need the extra hitbox. The planner is not a command to combine everything.

If a loader is auto-buying past the count you planned, turn Auto Buy off. The auto-merge page calls this out because it is the default way scripts waste a chest.

Print the table in your head: 2, 4, 8, 16, 32. If a purchase does not move you along that line or raise the floor, skip it.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Merge a Spinner on Roblox.

Does merge always take two?

Yes in the live design. If a patch adds 3-merges, this table will change.

Should I buy 64 starters for a high tier?

No. Raise spawn tier so the shop starts you halfway up. See upgrade priority.

Do exclusives follow this table?

Exclusives come from rebirth, not from doubling blues. Use the table for shop tops only.

Why did I still miss the target after 8 buys?

You probably merged during a wave and lost a body, or the shop mixed tiers. Recount matching tops on the lane.
